Luke Peng

Board Member, CEO, CBP Quilvest Singapore

Luke provides the direction and leadership to the Singapore team, having close to 30 years of professional trust and legal experience. Luke was called to the English Bar in 1988 and subsequently admitted to the Singapore Bar.

In 2000, Luke founded and established SG Trust (Asia) Ltd and was part of the global executive team responsible for its global trust and wealth planning business in Asia-Pacific. He remained in this role as CEO till July 2010 where he left to establish CBP Quilvest Singapore as a partner. Luke was previously also in charge of managing and developing the Asian trust operations of two other leading European banks, and also spent some years in legal practice, specializing in corporate and trust law.

Luke is active in Singapore’s trust industry. He is member of the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners (STEP) since 1995 and a founding member of the Singapore Trustees Association (STA).

George Yeo

Board Member, Head of Fiduciary & Family Office Services, Managing Director, CBP Quilvest Trust

George is the Head of Fiduciary & Family Office Services at CBP Quilvest Trust, with more than 24 years in the trust and finance industry. His wide experience covers traditional family trusts and estate planning to more complex structured solutions for clients and families in Asia and Europe. George also manages and oversees to the implementation of business strategies and development of CBP Quilvest Trust.

George was Executive Director of a European bank-owned trust company in Singapore for 10 years, heading the Wealth Planning team and was a member of the Global Management Committee. In this role, he provided complete solutions to clients through tailor-made structures catering to their needs that encompassed the capabilities and knowledge of the group’s global operations. Prior to his time at CBP Quilvest Trust, George was with the trust operations of HSBC and Commerzbank, and also worked in corporate banking with a large Asian bank.

George is a member of the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners (STEP).

Felicia Lim

Head of Operations, Executive Director, CBP Quilvest Singapore

Felicia is a founding member of CBP Quilvest Singapore and has over 30 years of experience in the trust industry, amassing a wealth of knowledge of trust and banking operations from her time at HSBC, Commerzbank and Societe Generale.

Prior to her appointment as Head of Operations, Felicia was the Head of Trust Administration at CBP Quilvest Trust, where she oversaw the operations of the trust company and provides support to the business development and structuring activities.

Currently as the Head of Operations at CBP Quilvest Singapore, Felicia oversees the operations of the Group in Singapore.

Felicia is a member of the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners (STEP).

Benjamin Lee

Head of Marketing, Executive Director, CBP Quilvest Wealth Advisory

Benjamin has spent more than 20 years in the financial industry, beginning as a trust officer with HSBC Trustee. He then spent several years in Institutional Equity Sales with a regional stockbroking house, before rejoining the trust and wealth management industry with SG Trust Asia in 2001. At SGTA, his responsibilities included trust marketing and client relationship management. He later became a Team Head with SG Private Banking Asia.

By 2010, Benjamin, and the like-minded partners at CBP Quilvest, developed the firm belief in serving and journeying with clients and their families with long term dedication and care, independence, and financial expertise. In 2010, CBP Quilvest Singapore was formed and founded on that belief. He is responsible for the strategic development and execution of the fund management and investment advisory business lines, as well as business development and executive management for CBP Quilvest Singapore.

Benjamin graduated from the National University of Singapore in 1993, Bachelor of Arts degree majors in Economics and Philosophy. He is a member of Society of Trusts and Estate Practitioners (STEP) and a board member of the National Kidney Foundation Singapore.

Yukihiro Shida

Senior Vice President, CBP Quilvest Wealth Advisory

Shida graduated from Rikkyo University with a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics in 1989 and has over 27 years of private banking and wealth management experience.

Over the 13 years spent at Yamaichi Securities and Merrill Lynch Securities, Shida advised private and corporate clients on investments, capital markets and corporate finance. He also held senior positions at Citigroup Private Bank Japan and Société Générale Private Banking in Singapore, where he was Senior Vice President and core team member of the Offshore Japan Team.

Shida joined CBP Quilvest Wealth Advisory in 2011, and continues to play key role in developing and managing client relationships on their wealth management requirements, as well as trust and succession planning solutions, supported by the Trust Team.

Eddie Er

Senior Director, Investments, CBP Quilvest Wealth Advisory

Eddie has over 17 years of experience in the financial industry, having undertaken investment research, management and advisory roles in asset management and private banking. He has both commercial and analytical experience across a wide range of investment products and solutions, including credit, fixed income, rates, equities, foreign exchange, commodities and money markets, as well as all associated derivatives, in both advisory and discretionary capacities.

At CBP Quilvest Wealth Advisory, Eddie is responsible for the investment advisory function in structuring and implementing bespoke and flow solutions, as well as portfolio construction and management in accordance with client/trust mandates. 

Eddie is a Certified Practising Accountant (CPA) with CPA Australia. 

Mason Tan

Director, Impact Investments, CBP Quilvest Wealth Advisory

Mason leads the impact investment practice at CBP Quilvest Singapore (CBPQS) and is a director of our Garden Impact Fund (GIF).  Mason is a pioneer in the field of impact investing and brings with him more than 25 years of professional working experience, including 7 years in impact investing.  Mason’s global working experience includes working in the public accounting and brokerage sector, master franchiser and operation of a US food and beverage chain, CFO at an internet venture and investor relations for a NYSE-listed company. 

Prior to joining CBPQS, Mason co-founded Garden Impact Investments Pte Ltd in 2013 and was among its key management staff.  He is passionate about dedicating his resources and life experience to help disadvantaged communities through impact investing.  Mason also co-founded Transformational Business Network Asia (TBN Asia), a non-profit that promotes fighting poverty through business enterprises solutions in South-East Asia.  ​

Additionally, Mason sits on the Steering Committee for Habitat for Humanity’s ShelterTech – a global innovation platform advancing entrepreneurial housing solutions that radically improve the lives of low-income families and is a Senior Advisor for Ashoka Foundation.

Denise Heng

Senior Director, Fiduciary & Family Office Services, CBP Quilvest Trust

Denise joined CBP Quilvest Trust in 2010 in support of its founding partners’ vision to create an independent specialised family office.  She now works alongside the Trust Team to develop solutions for the needs of wealth creators, their families and their advisers.  This encompasses their personal concerns regarding wealth protection, succession and legacy, as well as their business divestment or investment needs.  

Prior to her time in CBP Quilvest Trust, Denise started her career in personal and corporate taxation, spending 9 years in both compliance and advisory roles at Andersen and Ernst & Young.  During this time, she also advised clients on their personal succession and estate matters whilst being part of a specialized private client services team.

Thereafter, Denise joined SG Trust (Asia) Ltd as a wealth planner and advised high net-worth global clients on their personal and corporate needs with a focus on establishing trust and investment structures.  She was part of the team specialising in providing tax and trust training, and also engaged actively in public consultations with the Monetary Authority of Singapore on tax and trust regulations in Singapore.

Denise graduated with a Bachelor of Accounting from the Nanyang Technological University and is an Associate of the Institute of Singapore Chartered Accountants.

Carmen Chiang

Senior Director, Fiduciary & Family Office Services, CBP Quilvest Trust

Before joining CBP Quilvest Trust, Carmen was the Associate Director of Wealth Planning and Fiduciary Services at a global trust company, assisting high net worth clients, particularly from Europe and Asia, in their personal and corporate needs focusing on establishing trust and pre-IPO structures. Carmen had also worked at Andersen and Ernst & Young, and has more than 7 years of experience in both personal and corporate taxation. Her expertise in tax compliance and advisory contributed to her portfolio of clients consisting of private clients and large MNCs.

At CBP Quilvest Trust, Carmen assists clients across Europe, Asia and Latin America with private and corporate trust structuring as well as family advisory services.

Carmen graduated with a Bachelor of Accounting from the Nanyang Technological University, and is a member of the Singapore Trustees Association Technical Steering Committee. She has also been actively involved in public consultations by the Monetary Authority of Singapore in relation to the tax and trust regulations in Singapore

Wong May Har

Director, Fiduciary & Family Office Services, CBP Quilvest Trust

Prior to joining CBP Quilvest Trust, May was a Private Banker with BNP Paribas Wealth Management in Singapore, managing investment portfolios of high net worth clients mainly from Asia. Previously, May was with SG Trust (Asia) Ltd helming a dual role in marketing trust for family planning and succession purposes, as well as managing their investment portfolios to assist high net worth clients with both their personal and corporate needs towards fulfilling their overall wealth management objectives.

May has more than 15 years of experience in the banking and wealth planning industry.

May obtained her Masters Degree in Business Administration from the University of Leeds in UK and a 2nd Upper Class Honours Degree in Accounting and Finance from the University of Hull in UK.

Angeline Chng

Head of Compliance, CBP Quilvest Singapore

Angeline is responsible for the compliance function at CBP Quilvest Singapore. Prior to joining, she was a wealth planner and compliance office at SG Trust (Asia) Ltd. She was also a lawyer at leading Singapore law firms, Allen & Gledhill and Wong Partnership, practising in the areas of financial services and corporate mergers and acquisitions, and also worked as a legal counsel and credit analyst at Société Générale (Corporate & Investment Banking).  Angeline participates in public consultations initiated by the Monetary Authority of Singapore and the Inland Revenue Authority of Singapore. Her broad competencies and skill-sets help CBP Quilvest Singapore navigate the constantly changing global regulatory landscape.

Angeline holds a LLB (Hons) from King’s College, University of London and a LLM (Commercial and Corporate Law) from University College London. She was admitted to the English Bar (Middle Temple) in 1993 and the Singapore Bar in 1997. She holds a Diploma in Compliance (Financial Industry Competency Standards Specialist) from the University of Manchester, and is a full member of the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners (STEP).

CBP Quilvest Singapore rebrands as Providentia Wealth

Following the successful completion of a management buy-out of its major shareholder, CBP Quilvest Singapore has rebranded its trust and wealth advisory businesses to Providentia Wealth Management Ltd and Providentia Wealth Advisory Ltd respectively.  The rebranded Providentia Wealth is fully owned by the local management team and staff.  

Providentia Wealth continues to offer bespoke wealth planning and investment solutions out of its Singapore office for its global clients, multi-generational families, expatriates, and entrepreneurs across Asia, Europe, Latin America and the Middle East.
